Every Sur-Ron frame varies slightly—especially powder-coated or heavily used frames—so these tools make a huge difference during install.
Important Install Notes

ALWAYS use a brand-new jackshaft axle when installing
→ A bent axle can damage bearings during installation
- Loosen all components that may compress the frame:
- Motor mounts
- Peg brackets & brace
- Triangle linkage
- Subframe & bash guard
- For tight frames:
- Remove rear shock & triangle for extra clearance
- Use fitment rods to properly align components before inserting your axle
