Brake Caliper Shim Kit

Ensure perfect brake alignment with the Brake Caliper Shim Kit, designed to fine-tune your front or rear brake caliper when installing a 250mm Race Spec rotor and caliper adapter.

While most OEM Surron, Talaria, and E-Ride Pro applications do not require shims, some late-model forks or aftermarket calipers need minor adjustments to achieve proper rotor clearance and alignment.

This kit provides all the hardware you need to safely and accurately shim your calipers.

• (4) M6 x 2mm Anodized Black Aluminum Washers

• (4) M6 x 1mm Stainless Steel Washers

• (2) M6 x 25mm Allen Bolts

Note: Some post-mount systems may vary by up to 3mm between forks and calipers. Shims help ensure optimal alignment and rotor clearance.

Why Use Shims?

Shims allow you to fine-tune caliper positioning, preventing rotor rub, uneven pad wear, and inconsistent braking performance. This is a standard solution in the MTB world when OEM and aftermarket components vary slightly.
